Door County Maritime Museum offers Blue Star Museum Admissions

Door County Maritime Museum has expanded our policy to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. DCMM provides free admission for those currently serving in the United States Military – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard – and up to five family members.

This admission policy is available year-round, especially honoring the service of the three local US Coast Guard stations in Door County. The City of Sturgeon Bay is one of 28 cities that have been designated by Congress as Coast Guard Cities, and the only one in the state of Wisconsin.

During the summer months, the DCMM military personnel policy is part of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums in all 50 states that offer free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 15) through Labor Day.
