Our dear family member, friend and colleague, J. Candace Clifford, passed away from glioblastoma on August 15, 2018.

Candace was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, friend, dancer, artist, and lighthouse historian. She was an enthusiastic traveler and talented photographer. Her photos were shown at galleries and recognized with several awards. We will miss Candace greatly and cherish her memory.

All are welcome to join a celebration of her life through tributes and dancing at the Bumper Car Pavilion, Glen Echo Park, on Sunday, October 21st, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Please bring a dish and/or a non-alcoholic drink to share at the potluck reception to follow the memorial. Utensils and napkins will be provided.

Candace was a valued member of the Waltz Time committee, volunteering her time and talents in presenting the twice-monthly dances. After our dance dedicated to her memory, some of you may wish to stay and dance with Candace’s friends at the waltz in the Spanish Ballroom beginning at 3:30 p.m. Glen Echo Park is located at 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, MD 20812.
