Galveston Historical Foundation Seeks Coordinator of Maritime Education & Museum Programs

Galveston Historical Foundation is seeking a dynamic, creative and energetic individual to join a professional staff and revised business plan for the Texas Seaport Museum in the capacity of Coordinator of Maritime Education & Museum Programs. The position is designed to allow maximum opportunity to use new technology and museum education strategies to enhance the teaching of youth and adults on Texas maritime history using the historic tall ship ELISSA, Seagull II, Santa Maria and the museum site and facilities. Applicants should demonstrate prior experience, training and education that would indicate an understanding to the Gulf Coast maritime heritage, tall ships, marine life, environmental issues, and all aspects of maritime education.  This is a salaried full time position with full benefits.
