Job Posting:  Lake Champlain Maritime Museum Seeks Crew for Schooner Lois McClure Tour

The Lake Champlain Maritime Museum has numerous crew positions open aboard the replica 1862 Canal Schooner Lois McClure.  Based on the archaeological remains of shipwrecks Lois McClure was built and launched in Burlington, Vermont.  For the past 13 years she has been traveling the northeast, interpreting the shared history along the inland waterways.

During the 2017 Legacy Tour, which begins in June and ends in October, we’ll be commemorating the 200th anniversary of canal construction by traversing the Champlain and Erie Canals.  Tour theme includes the interconnected relationship between our forests and waterways.  All crew positions will be involved in vessel operations as well as historic interpretation and education.  For more information and complete job descriptions visit: http://www.lcmm.org/our_fleet/lois_mcclure_schedule.htm
